About Me

Hello there!! I'm Som Gollakota, an IT professional with over 18 years of experience. Throughout my journey, I've worked with esteemed organizations including T-Mobile USA, Slalom Consulting, Microsoft, and GE. My roles have spanned domains such as telecommunications, supply chain, operations, retail, manufacturing, and core IT.

Some key skills I've acquired along my journey include product management, project management, and leading SOX-compliant DevOps transformations. Notably, I successfully reduced OpEx spend, improved developer productivity, and achieved zero SOX audit findings.

On a personal note, I reside in the Pacific Northwest. When I am not immersed in IT, I express my creativity through oil painting, sketching, and cooking various cuisines. Additionally, I am passionate about reciting the Vedas (Hindu Scriptures), and I serve as a volunteer priest at a Hindu Temple in Kent.
